This year, we are turning laughter into service through the **Rotaract Comedy Fundraiser 2026 – Laughing for Impact**. This is more than just a night of comedy, entertainment and fun. It is an opportunity for us to come together, enjoy ourselves, give generously and create a lasting impact in the lives of people who need our support. WHY ARE WE ORGANISING THIS FUNDRAISER? As Rotaractors, we believe that **service can be joyful, purposeful and impactful**. Through *Laughing for Impact*, we are bringing people together through comedy while raising funds towards causes that directly contribute to community wellbeing. The proceeds from this fundraiser will support two key areas: 1. SUPPORTING THE ROTARY FOUNDATION Part of the proceeds will contribute to the **Rotary Foundation**, supporting Rotary's broader humanitarian work and its commitment to creating lasting change in communities around the world. Every contribution, whether big or small, helps us strengthen the spirit of **Service Above Self**. 2. SUPPORTING HEALTHCARE SERVICES We will also raise funds to contribute towards the acquisition of essential medical equipment, including: An oxygen concentrator to support patients requiring oxygen therapy. A maternity bed to improve comfort and support for mothers receiving care. CBC machines to support essential blood testing and diagnosis. These are not simply machines and equipment. They represent **better healthcare, timely diagnosis, dignity for mothers, and potentially saved lives.** WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS Imagine attending a comedy event, laughing with friends, enjoying great entertainment—and knowing that your ticket, contribution or sponsorship is helping provide equipment that can make a difference in someone's life.
